Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load planning
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance concerns
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and logbook procedures
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
- Must be 21+ years old
