Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight using refrigerated and dry van equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build client relationships through professional delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Southeast regional highways
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
