Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner over assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity throughout the journey.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold a professional image while representing the company at shipper and receiver locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong understanding of road maps and navigation tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and long distances as required by the route.
