Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely on dedicated routes between San Jose and key Western US destinations
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules with 99% on-time performance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and compliance documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatch team using onboard technology systems
- Manage freight handling and securement per DOT regulations
- Complete required paperwork and digital documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and route navigation
- Flexibility for regional routes with 3-4 day home time
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for freight handling
- Previous dedicated route experience preferred
