As a Dump Truck Driver at Miami Heavy Haul Logistics, you will play a crucial role in our construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring materials are transported safely and efficiently across the South Florida region.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport loose materials (concrete, dirt, gravel, asphalt) to and from job sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials efficiently, adhering to safety guidelines and weight restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck bed at all times.
- Navigate Miami traffic and job sites safely, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site managers, and crew members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the proper endorsements.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience driving dump trucks in Miami or the surrounding South Florida area.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and working in varying weather conditions.
- Familiarity with construction sites and heavy equipment operations is a plus.
