Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early morning/late evening shifts as needed
- Basic proficiency with GPS technology and mobile communication devices
