Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers on dedicated routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for seamless deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent Durham Logistics with professionalism at all customer interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays as needed
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
