Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A and Class B trucks and vans to deliver freight to customers in and around Orlando, FL.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Document and log all mileage, fuel stops, and delivery times accurately using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring items are protected from damage during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery location, handling receipts and signatures professionally.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial capacity.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of logistics, safety regulations, and traffic laws.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess valid legal documentation for employment.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
