Responsibilities
- Operate Class A dump trucks to transport materials (sand, gravel, rock) to and from job sites.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure loads properly and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route optimization.
- Maintain accurate logs and adhere to all DOT and local traffic regulations.
- Perform minor maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy dump trucks.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of truck systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
