Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and time management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with California roadways and port operations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
