Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within North Carolina
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional weekdays
