Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in and around San Francisco.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle mileage in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local San Francisco and Bay Area geography.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
