Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and physical certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
