Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to transport freight across Tennessee and neighboring states.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations and time limits.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo are secure and in good working order.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, routes, and potential delays.
- Maintain a clean driving record and demonstrate professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving history.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR or regional preferred).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent major violations or DUIs.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of interstate highway systems, navigation, and traffic laws.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
