Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within California
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions daily
- Manage accurate documentation including logs, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent the company professionally in all client and community interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation technology
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of California highway systems and delivery regulations
