Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) for freight transportation across designated routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care using specialized equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight delivery schedules

Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Familiarity with Chicago metro routes and Midwest highways
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading machinery
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
- Previous hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
