Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) on regional and long-haul routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status and delivery updates
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork for compliance purposes
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong attention to safety and compliance protocols
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
