Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on role).
- Current DOT Medical Card and Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
