Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and route efficiency
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and maintain clean driving records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and mandatory drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
