Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Secure cargo properly and perform loading/unloading duties as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience (New Grads with clean records welcome).
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
