Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the assigned truck and trailer.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks such as coupling/uncoupling trailers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
