Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes in and around the Dallas metroplex.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure handling and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and records of duty status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and team members.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties associated with loading/unloading.
