Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status, address changes, or potential delays.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold a professional appearance at all times.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Valid DOT Medical Card and current DOT physical certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
