Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery van, ensuring all items are handled with care and remain secure during transit.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and resolving any delivery issues efficiently.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and operational condition, adhering to all safety and inspection regulations.
- Manage the delivery route effectively to maximize efficiency and ensure all stops are completed as scheduled.
- Handle returns and damaged items appropriately according to company policy and procedures.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation to and from the delivery station (for owner-operators, a valid commercial vehicle may be required).
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and accessing the delivery device.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Residency within or near the Fort Worth, TX area.
