Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly behavior on the bus
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Complete incident reports when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug test
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Patience and love for working with children
- Knowledge of San Diego streets preferred
