Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided tractors and refrigerated trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and pre/post-trip inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Uphold strict compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver temperature-sensitive freight to distribution centers
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch regarding shipment status
- Participate in quarterly equipment training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 1 year dedicated OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operations
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules (primarily daytime/overnight)
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
