Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to designated sites
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections, maintenance checks, and post-trip documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with dispatchers, construction crews, and site supervisors for efficient operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
- Manage loading/unloading processes using hydraulic controls and safety equipment
- Respond proactively to route changes and weather conditions to ensure on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Familiarity with Arizona roadways, construction zones, and weight regulations
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting and maintenance
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Physical capability to climb equipment, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
