Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Load/unload materials including gravel, sand, asphalt, and demolition debris
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip documentation
- Maintain clean and compliant fleet vehicles through regular maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for efficient operations
- Manage delivery schedules while maintaining punctuality and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and construction site safety procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
