Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with all Federal and State regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily logs (DOT 3070/DMV 4508) and delivery receipts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading at various stops.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screening certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
