Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned late-model trucks for dedicated regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Utilize GPS systems for optimal route planning and delivery accuracy
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat materials (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (4 days out, 3 days home)
