Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- Execute on-time deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment and safety procedures
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic logging system entries
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all local/state traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and substance screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Philadelphia roadways and Pennsylvania highway systems
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
