Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across Miami-Dade and Broward counties
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Deliver freight on time while ensuring optimal route efficiency
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the company brand
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Strong knowledge of Miami metro routes and Florida highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with ELD systems
- Fluent English communication skills (Spanish a plus)
