Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Trucks/Trailers) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and security of cargo and equipment.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and demonstrate a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
