Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within North Carolina and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials preferred (not required)
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and ELD systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
