Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations within Las Vegas and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with all safety and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with federal laws.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation systems and handheld scanners.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
