Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) in and around the Baltimore metropolitan area.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo is secure and protected.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records compliant with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring timely and courteous delivery services.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Manage inventory and paperwork associated with each delivery stop accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the required endorsements.
- A current, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and clean driving history.
- Must possess a valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred (new grads with valid CDLs considered).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
