Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a clean driving record and meet Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to undergo training for new drivers with no commercial experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
