Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks for safe, efficient freight transport across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan optimal delivery routes while adhering to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding shipment status
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) documentation and delivery paperwork with precision
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for secure loading/unloading of diverse cargo types
- Represent our company professionally through exceptional customer service and road safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight travel and extended hours when required
