Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely on assigned routes and schedules.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Complete all required delivery paperwork and logs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers during the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical issues.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
- Must possess a clean driving record.
