Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial destinations within the Sacramento area.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are delivered with care and a friendly demeanor.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
- Update delivery status in the company’s management system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently in varying weather conditions.
