Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and verify shipment documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance policy for violations
- Support fleet maintenance coordination when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Florida roadways and weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
