Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security, proper handling, and weight distribution.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict time schedules and delivery routes to meet customer service expectations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays, route changes, or delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUI or reckless driving convictions within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (Medical Card).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US work authorization.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and load securement procedures.
