Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport freight to designated delivery locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or damage.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and dispatchers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License required (Commercial Driver's License).
- Must be at least 21 years of age (for interstate driving).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and travel long distances.
