Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across Texas and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickup and delivery.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, DOT guidelines, and company policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or road hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no recent DUI, reckless driving, or major accidents.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for using ELD devices and delivery apps.
