Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Kansas City metro area.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Verify and manage delivery documentation, including electronic proof of delivery and maintaining accurate logs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times to ensure a professional image.
- Resolve delivery issues on the spot, such as incorrect addresses or missed connections, with a solutions-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for accessing navigation and delivery apps.
- Reliable transportation to and from the designated terminal.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
