Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver freight to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and documentation at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle service inquiries, and resolve issues on the route.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
