Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over assigned routes to deliver and pick up freight.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) and valid DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous material handling (preferred).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
