Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to customers in and around St. Petersburg, FL.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo with care and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Completion of paid CDL training program or equivalent driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of a truck driver (lifting, standing, etc.).
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
