Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (asphalt, gravel, dirt) to job sites
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Coordinate with site supervisors for precise material unloading and placement
- Adapt routes based on real-time traffic and project schedules
- Follow strict safety protocols for load securement and workplace hazards
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with Bay Area geography and construction site logistics
- DOT medical certification and required safety training certifications
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
