Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Timely pickup and delivery of goods while maintaining delivery schedules
- Accurate completion of delivery paperwork and digital logging
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance oversight
- Route optimization to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Direct communication with dispatch team and clients for seamless operations
- Adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft+) in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Basic familiarity with digital logging devices (ELD)
- Must reside within 50 miles of Memphis, TN
